Decoiler Overview

Steel Decoiler is a special equipment for metal plate uncoiling. The body is a welded box structure. The variable frequency speed regulating motor reduces the speed of the gear box and drives the reel shaft to provide the main power for the uncoiler.

Key Features

Steel decoiler is one of the most important equipments in the press feeding line. The automatic stamping start from uncoiling sheet metal steel coils.
Uncoiler function is to support the steel coil tightening the steel coil inner diameter and stock the coils, then send the steel band by rotating in cooperation with the straightener machine.
Therefore, the performance of the decoiler is of great importance to the entire production line.

Decoiler Machine Working

The main axis of the uncoiler is to drive the steel coil to rotate, tensioning support of the steel coil.

Rotating: The rotation is usually achieved by the motor driving the main shaft to rotate through the reducer.
The oil cylinder or pneumatic cylinder which are installed on the main shaft should rotate together with the main shaft. The cylinder need to be connected with one end of the working medium pipeline, and the other end of the pipeline must be connected to the hydraulic station or the solenoid valve.
Tensioning: The realization of the tightening is usually accomplished by the oil cylinder or cylinder installed with the main shaft pushing the inclined slider.
