Therefore, it is called cold stamping or sheet metal stamping, and is abbreviated as stamping. It is one of the main methods of metal plastic processing (or pressure processing) and belongs to the material forming engineering technology.
The production efficiency of the metalworking stamping processing is high, and the operation is convenient. It is easy to achieve mechanization and automation. This is because stamping is accomplished by means of stamping dies and stamping equipment. The stroke frequency of ordinary presses can reach several tens per minute, while those of high-speed presses can reach several hundreds or even several thousands per minute. Moreover, each stamping stroke can produce one stamping part.
